Technical Grade Calcium Chloride Flake is effective to temperatures of around -32°C. It is a fast acting solution for de-icing roads and pathways as it begins to dissolve immediately upon application to break the bind between the surface and ice.
- Attracts moisture from its surroundings, quickly starting the de-icing process
- Exothermic, meaning it releases heat when it reacts with water, heating up the surrounding area upon contact and hastening the melting process.
