We are delighted to announce that Amanda Turnbull, one of our area representatives has won a Lifetime Achievement from the AHCP (Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals).
Criteria of award:
Nominations are requested for the one person you believe stands above all others in their lifetime achievements and dedication to improving the standards within Healthcare Cleaning.
Amanda has been an active member of the association for the past 10 years, and has been Midland Branch Secretary since 2016. Amanda has given a helping hand at many of the annual 3 days National AHCP Forums, and in recent years has taken a passionate role in entertaining members at the Icebreaker evening, running fun interactive team games.
Amanda has increased the Midland Branch membership by 30% and thrives to ensure our members benefit from the Association and its events. She is a good listener, and a good shoulder to cry on.
Amanda thanked the Association for this recognition. She said “I am very passionate about the AHCP and cleaning within a healthcare environment. I have learned so much over the years from members and guest speakers, which has helped me to understand healthcare members daily hurdles and constraints. It has also helped me to share best practices to others.” Amanda would like to thank the support and friendship of her colleagues within the AHCP and her employer Nobisco Ltd who continuously supports her and the Association.
Well done Amanda, a well-deserved award.
